After getting into SGDQ last year with Ratchet 1, and Xem getting into AGDQ earlier this year with Ratchet 2, I figured my chances of getting into a GDQ were insanely slim, with my only "real" chance being if I fluke getting Deadlocked in, which hasn't been shown in about 7 years. Of course I still submitted anyways as always, with no expectations whatsoever in regards to getting in myself. I was just hoping to see another Ratchet game represented and any other friends get in.

To my extreme surprise, I went to check the list earlier today and Deadlocked has been accepted as a backup run.

Between getting Twitch Partner at the start of April and now this, I really don't know what to say. There were so many points in the last two years were it felt like "the end" was approaching and somehow here we are, with things ONLY getting bigger and bigger. I am left stunned and speechless (said the same thing last year when Rac1 got in lmao).

A big congrats to Joester and Wed who got in with Twinsanity and Spyro 3.5 respectively, and all of the Halo runners that got in [sorry I'm dropping Halo 2 to play deadlocked now oopsies :)]. Bunch of other cool runs, and of course I'm extremely excited to see a lot of my friends again.

If I had a dollar for every time I got to see one of my close friends get married and immediately after go run for an SGDQ, I would now have 2 dollars, which isn't a lot but it can hopefully buy me a red bull zero in this economy (what the FUCK why are these $4 now!??!?!)
