Tomba! 2 Special Edition | All Events route

This route assumes you're playing on v1.0 aka day of release version, otherwise the T1 events won't be unlocked from the start.

In this version you can't deathwarp.

 

It's important that one chick is red and the other blue, otherwise you will have to go to a different mouse than the deep forest one. the colour of each chick corresponds to the top of the barrel it's inside of when you hit it.

Not all magic wing pickups are listed here, but you'll be fine picking up the ones you get in any% up to kujara summit.

You need 19 fireflies total, you get 3 from hide and seek and 5 from the nest. grab the remaining 11 whenever you're in kujara ranch/donglin forest

---Starting Beach---

Hit the second egg but don't grab chick (red side of barrel should be up). Hit it from the back towards the barrel so the cutscene takes less time

Make sure every barrel is red side up

Fill bucket a third time after extinguishing house

Raise bridge, get 1 fish

Grab crab basket and flip the remaining two barrels to red side up

Flip one back so they stop moving

Get golden hook

Grab golden crab #2, jump on fishing hook

Grab golden crab #3, grab magic wing and enter windmill

---Pipe Area---

Lower the ice boomerang chain and grab the power coal

After grabbing the boomerang, throw the capper into the first anemone

Grab the mudball surprise while the anemone does its animation

Grab hot dregs

Continue extinguishing cappers like any%

Interact with save sign, run back to start

Throw moving capper into second anemone

Don't forget stationary capper at start of level

Enter first door and give water to traveler

Grab hot dregs

---Coal-Mining Town & Pipe Area p2---

Read the sign about dried fish (furthest left)

Grab 1 Meat

Don't deathwarp after getting hammer, run to bomb room

Equip bucket after grabbing bombs

Get the chick food from the red chest (high up, use steam from where the stationary capper was)

Get banana under bridge

Get mudball surprise after lowering bridge

Fill bucket with hot water after blowing up rock

Warp to CMT

After talking to Gran, go through his house along conveyer belt and give power coal to guy

---Kujara Ranch Area---

grab fireflies when possible

After grabbing book, prepare first anemone for later

Wait to release the kujara fruit until after talking to the green guy to prevent event popup stall

Grab icy dregs after getting fire hammer

Rest of this area is same as any%

---Kujara Summit---

Dump hot water in pool

Talk to girls to start hide n seek

Grab first kujara to right of fish man

Grab lunch box from green chest near second kujara

Start sculpture

Talk to kujara wash guy near sculptor entrance

Do torodako skip (but also grab cog)

Grab magic mirror

Grab the itching salve

Raise ladder

---Donglin Forest---

Grab fireflies when possible

Become invisible and grab the clear fruit

Destroy the aquatic plant

Use clear fruit and re-equip squirrel clothes

---Circus Village---

Touch Laughing Door while running past after getting pig suit

Wait to equip the pig suit until you're on the bridge

After flying paon, climb down ladder and get getwell plant from pig

---Water Temple---

After getting Swimming Pig Suit, go into mermaid room and give her the scale

Do sign glitch + pedestal glitch, the next few steps must happen quickly

Grab holy water

Zip to top

Run left and grab harp piece

Run back to entrance of golden tower

When camera pans down, move left far enough past the load trigger

Switch back into swimming pig suit before camera pans back

Gently move towards the load trigger

Exit golden tower

Destroy aquatic plant

Fight ice pig

Talk to Minitta Tunnel guy

Grab the Rare Crab

Finish Water Temple as normal

---The Starting Beach---

Upon exiting Water Temple, unlock the Adventure Chest

Grab the bridge cog

Fight Water Pig

Destroy the 2 aquatic plants & grab the spoon

Warp to Trolley Entrance

 

---Pipe Area---

Fight Ghost Pig

Warp to Kujara Ranch Area

 

---Kujara Ranch Area---

Grab Fireflies when possible (need to pick up 11. you get 8 from girls + nest)

Swing jump up to Earth Pig, change into any pig robe

Fight Earth Pig

Grab first 2 girls (throw enemy in hole, go down slide)

Equip Squirrel Clothes

Grab large flower seed

Unlock Adventure chest

Destroy the Aquatic Plant

Destroy the firefly nest & grab the fireflies

Grab last girl

You should have at least 17 fireflies by now. if necessary you can get 1 or 2 in later donglin forest visits

Equip Swimming Pig Suit and warp with Donglin Bell

 

---Donglin Forest---

Fight Flame Pig

Get Rare Shrimp

Get Laughing status

Get Baron

Equip Squirrel Clothes and Warp to Trolley Entrance

 

---Pipe Area---

Unlock Adventure chest

Enter Laughing door, get normal fruit and use it before exiting

Fly over bridge without lowering it

Put potato under hot water faucet, equip bucket, hit button

Water the plant while potato is being boiled

Equip bucket and fill it again

Grab potato. Make sure it's not 1/2 boiled

Get a Mudball

Lower/raise the chains and grab a second Mudball --- Getting Clay from a Mudball appears to be RNG, you can get lunch/gems instead. 2 should hopefully be enough

Go down the chain to unlock ??? warp

Talk to Kainen twice

Go back up

Fly slightly to the left and go down

Grab the Small Mud Clump

Equip Ice Pig Robe and warp to Starting Beach

 

---Starting Beach--- Practice this a lot, you can easily mess up the 3 pigs in the back. you can sometimes turn the bird into candy and get 4 at once in the back

Water flower

Flip first barrel blue side up

Cast once to get 2 candies

Destroy the first 2 aquatic plants

Cross first seesaw and hit egg from the back

Grab the Rare Fish

Cast once to get 3 candies, destroy both aquatic plants

Lower the net and hang a fish (lower by swinging left)

Warp to reset

Hit the blue barrel and cast to get 2 candies

Grab the blue chick

Hit the red barrel and grab red chick

Cross seesaw and get 3 candies

Raise the net all the way

Get water

Warp to reset

Get candies

Grab the dried fish

Warp to reset

Get candies

Warp to reset

Give Getwell Plant to boy

Grab the bridge cog in the control shed

Give Large Flower Seed to woman near bridge

Wash Small Mud Clump

Wash Mudballs until you get Clay. If no clay your run has died lol

Wash 2 Mudball Surprises

Bake Banana

Bake 1 Meat

Bake lightomite and hardonium

Combine Lightomite and hardonium

Give Baked Banana to Charles

Talk to pot guy

Break his pot

Get Trolley Ticket from guy in tool shed (door #2)

Give Clay Spatula and Clay to guy in tool shed (door #4)

Give Master's Pot to pot guy

Talk to the mother in other house

Give Miner's Ring to guy outside (on the grates)

Give Big Steak, Dried Fish and Boiled Potato to chef

Equip Squirrel Clothes and warp to L/C Forest

 

---Donglin Forest---

Grab Laughing fruit

Enter Laughing Door and flip the switch, flip it back

Give Hash Potato Sandwich to traveler

Run to forest entrance

Go up

Enter the Laughing Door in the top right of the Forest Entrance

Give both hot dregs to Witch Mizuno (manually) (don't give the ice dreg)

Talk to Witch Mizuno to give her the Invisible Mirror

Use normal fruit

Become invisible and grapple to the left. Get the Light Cutting Box.

Use Clear Fruit, Talk to guy

Get Crying status

Equip Squirrel Clothes and warp to Kujara Wash

 

---Kujara Summit---

Talk to Pham

Get the ladder cog (!!)

Grab kujaras along the way

Enter the Crying Door and grab the Mystery Mushroom. Use the normal fruit

Enter Tool Shed

Grab Large Fuse first, then grab Charles

Give him Itching Salve

Destroy the Aquatic plant and grab the Rare Squid

Talk to Sculptor

Water the flower

Give Steak Sandwich to traveler

Talk to girls

Find the liar thrice

Deliver the fish

Deliver the Kujaras to Pham

Complete 10 Kujara Washing levels

Warp to Trolley Entrance

 

---Pipe Area---

Talk to Trolley guy

Talk again

Complete Trolley twice, avoid as many seeds as possible (you'll probably get the 2 that are floating in the air)

Capture a flame pig with pig ball

Enter the Tower of Courage

Equip Swimming Pig Suit and warp to Water Temple

---Water Temple---

Enter the dark room

Place down the Ice Statue

Get 2x holy water, water the plant

At the Minitta guy, turn right-most green guy into platform

Give all cogs to Minitta guy

Go through minitta tunnel and talk to mouse

Enter the Mini Temple

Talk to the Mouse

Warp to the Waterfall (with wings)

 

---Starting Beach---

Enter Mouse Village

Gather nuts twice (100, then 200. exit manually when you have 200)

Unlock Adventure chest

Leave Mouse Village

Eat Minitta Fruit to become big

Capture a pig

Eat Minitta Fruit to become mini

Climb the tree, auto warp to mini temple

 

---Water Temple---

Talk to the mouse

Warp to Circus Village with wings, Travel to Deep Forest

---Donglin Forest---

Enter the mouse house

Leave, become big, equip Squirrel Clothes

Do the Potato Bug thing

Capture a ghost pig

Unlock Adventure chest

Enter Tower of Wisdom

Equip any pig robe (optional), warp to Kujara Ranch Area

---Kujara Ranch Area---

Capture a pig

Enter tower of strength from the bottom

Exit

Talk to dwarves

Equip Squirrel Clothes

Use Holy Water on tree

Climb it and fly across

Grab the rucksack and go down

 

---Water Temple---

Get Taboo Fruit

Equip Swimming Pig Suit and give Food and Rucksack to traveler

Talk to mermaid

Exit through the second door

Jump in water and grab the amulet

Capture a water pig

Use Mystery Mushroom twice to cry, enter crying door

Talk to 100-year-old man

Go to Mini Temple

Use mini Mushroom

Talk to mouse

Exit Mini Temple

Become big

Warp to Circus Village

 

---Circus Village---

Enter first door

Give Dried Fish Sandwich to Invisible Traveler

Give tiny pigs to ice guy (manually, don't speak to him)

Water the final flower

Talk to statue

Use Mystery Mushroom once and enter the Laughing Door

Talk to Yan

Equip Flame Pig Robe and warp to ???
